House Manager – Private Windermere Estate
A discerning private client is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and discreet House Manager to oversee the operations of a 10,000-square-foot, three-level estate in Lake Butler. This role requires resourcefulness, independence, and an exceptional eye for detail to maintain the highest household standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Household Operations: Manage daily household needs, inventory, and provisioning to ensure the home is fully stocked and operating smoothly.
Vendor & Contractor Oversight: Source and coordinate vendors, supervise work on-site, manage security gate access, and oversee invoice processing.
Scheduling: Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly household schedules including vendor visits, maintenance, and household activities.
Property Maintenance: Coordinate repairs, oversee upkeep of the estate, and ensure all systems are operating at peak performance.
Staff & Event Supervision: Lead up to five staff during small hosted gatherings (up to 20 guests) to ensure seamless execution.
Asset Management: Oversee care for vehicles, artwork, furniture, technology systems, and recreational assets such as a boat and jet skis.
Proactive Support: Anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, and complete tasks independently with minimal direction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing private estates or luxury properties.
Strong leadership, organizational, and vendor management skills.
Ability to work independently, with discretion and confidentiality.
Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the household.
Compensation & Benefits:
$120,000 annual salary (W-2, bi-weekly pay).
$400 monthly health insurance stipend.
2 weeks paid vacation annually (accrued).
5 paid holidays: July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day.
