We are seeking a skilled Senior Welder/Fabricator to join a growing fabrication shop in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for a professional who takes pride in precision welding and fabrication.
Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum
Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Build and fit complex assemblies with minimal supervision
Verify weld quality and meet internal and customer standards
Support junior welders and collaborate with engineering and quality teams
5–10 years of welding and fabrication experience
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding across multiple positions
Ability to work with tight tolerances and fabrication best practices
Familiarity with ASME/AWS code work a plus
Strong measuring, layout, and blueprint reading skills
$25–$35/hour, based on experience
