Description PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - 3rd shift shipping: Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 07:30am (shift times subject to change); Friday night work possible
- $20.50 per hour, overtime after 40 hours/week
- Know how to complete forklift inspection form daily.
- Know how to complete product setting paperwork daily.
- Know how to report discrepancies on shipment quantities or descriptions.
- Know how to complete bills of lading for shipments.
- Know how to maintain proper product rotation.
- Be able to communicate effectively with truck drivers.
- Be able to set orders prior to pick up date.
- Be able to accurately complete truck mapping during shipment.
- Be able to work in freezer temperatures.
- Know basic math skills.
- Know how to operate a forklift.
- Know basic Microsoft programs.
- Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies and procedures
- Report safety incidents to supervisor/management immediately.
- Report food safety concerns to supervisor/management immediately.
Other Duties And Responsibilities - Assist other departments as needed.
- Participate in plant audit and inspection preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands - Be able to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Be able to push or pull up to 200 pounds on wheeled equipment.
- Be able to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching.
- Be able to stand for majority of shift.
- Be able to read/write English.
- Be able to work in high ambient temperatures.
Qualifications Required - Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience:
