Job Description

DITA Eyewear, an international luxury eyewear company with multiple brands, seeks to hire a Junior Graphic Designer to join the marketing team at DITA’s corporate office in Aliso Viejo. This successful candidate will support DITA’s global marketing team with all collateral and will report directly to DITA’s Marketing Director.

ABOUT THE JOB

As the Jr. Graphic Designer, you will:

  • Assist with the design and production of custom window displays and point of purchase materials for DITA’s Flagship stores and Wholesale Accounts.
  • Create and provide art files to print vendors while monitoring costs, production quality and final delivery/installation.
  • Assist with design and layout of seasonal catalogs, look books, line sheets, sell-in kits and sales packets for DITA’s growing portfolio of luxury brands.
  • Design and develop digital and printed display and marketing materials for trade shows, trunk shows and in-store events.
  • Assist with design and print production of business cards and seasonal promotional materials for DITA’s sales team.
  • Layout CADs or schematics of stores and merchandising planograms.
  • Create and update order forms, sales guides and training materials for all brands.
  • Retouch images for campaigns, ecommerce, and look books.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least two years of professional graphic design experience. Experience with print production is preferred.
  • A link to a current online portfolio showcasing their graphic design skills.
  • Extensive experience with Adobe creative suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to be flexible and ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet given deadlines.
  • A success driven mentality and the desire to constantly improve and develop their skills as a graphic designer and grow in a corporate environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to solve problems with creative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills: willingness to be assertive when necessary while maintaining positive working relationships.
