This is a remote position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Typist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in our digital databases and systems. Strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input data from source documents into company systems and databases
  

• Review data for errors and correct any incompatibilities
  

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
  

• Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering information
  

• Prepare and sort documents for data entry
  

• Generate routine reports and summaries from input data
  

• Maintain organized filing systems (digital and/or paper-based)
  

• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus
  

• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or typist
  

• Excellent typing speed and accuracy (typically 40+ WPM)
  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) or Google Workspace
  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  

• Basic understanding of databases and spreadsheets
